Ripley’s Aquarium

This 85,000-square-foot indoor aquarium wonderland has over 10,000 exotic sea creatures comprised of more than 350 individual species. Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach at Broadway at the Beach, the family will be in awe exploring the secrets of the deep blue sea.   • Family Kingdom

    Family Kingdom is Myrtle Beach's only seaside amusement park and oceanfront water park on the Grand Strand. It is home to the Swamp Fox Wooden Roller Coaster, a staple of the park for years. Your family will have hours of fun splashing about at the oceanfront water park and then twisting and turning on over 35 thrilling rides.

  • Hopsewee Plantation

    A historical gem preserved in time and just minutes from the Grand Strand. Built in 1753 to serve as a Lowcountry rice plantation, Hopsewee Plantation is now a National Historical Landmark located near Georgetown, South Carolina. Enjoy guided tours of the plantation house, sign up for sweetgrass basket making classes or enjoy afternoon tea in the charming Tea Room Cottage. Learn the history of the families that called this home for over 40 years before the Revolutionary War.

  • Hobcaw Barony

    A 16,000-acre wildlife refuge preserved in time to showcase nature and the days when it served as a rice plantation. Comprised of both historical and modern structures scattered throughout the property, this is a historical preserve that the whole family will enjoy learning about.

  • Huntington State Park

    A state park and coastal preserve located in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Enjoy large white sandy beaches with few beach-goers and explore the nature center, which features history displays and live animals, Atalaya Castle and numerous wild bird watching areas.

  • Brookgreen Gardens

    A 9,100-acre wildlife preserve and sculpture garden comprised of several themed gardens with American sculptures that trail through various ecosystems and nature reserves on the property. Also includes the Lowcountry Zoo for an introduction to the local wildlife.

  • Wild Water & Wheels

    Located minutes from Myrtle Beach, Wild Water & Wheels is both a theme park and water park. Wild Water has 24 different water slides on eleven slide towers. For speed and thrills the park offers the Triple Dip, Free Fall Cliff Dive, Serpentine and Side Winder high-speed body slides. The park also offers Wild H20, a four-lane racing mat slide, plus enclosed and open flume single and double rider tube slides. You will also find a wave pool that produces eight different wave types, a lazy river adult lounge pool and kiddie pool. Inner tubes are provided at no additional charge. The adjacent theme park offers attractions like miniature golf, go-carts, bumper boats and children’s rides. Wild Water & Wheels has a snack bar and facilities for group picnics and birthday parties.

  • The Ripken Experience

    The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach opened its doors in June 2006. The complex consists of nine fields—four regulation-sized diamonds and five youth diamonds. The fields are designed after historic ballparks from baseball history that include: Griffith Field, Navin Field and The Polo Grounds. At The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, each baseball field features a popular synthetic playing surface used by professional and collegiate teams worldwide. Consistent play, elimination of rain outs and the reduction of the risk for injuries are among the many benefits of this synthetic playing surface. It’s not just kids who can get in on the fun. Coaches can make calls from big league dugouts and glance over at the professional scoreboards.
