Check Out Classic Cars in Myrtle Beach at Cruisin’ the Beach Oct. 17-19
Love classic cars? Come down and check out cars, trucks, motorcycles, street rods and muscle cars at the Crusin’ the Beach car show, hosted by the Myrtle Beach Car Club at Broadway at the Beach from Oct. 17-19. It’s free to spectators, so come on down!
The show gets going at 8 a.m. all three days and will close at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Vendors and T-shirt sales will be open, as well as food and drink concessions. Awards and giveaways, including door prizes and trophies, will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday. The show will be behind the Imax theatre at Broadway at the Beach.
At the show, you can purchase raffle tickets to a 50/50 drawing, where half of the proceeds from the raffle will go to the winner and the other half to charity. You can also purchase raffle tickets for a car that will be raffled off, a project 32 hi-boy with all new parts. One raffle ticket is $5, three tickets are $10, and ten tickets are $20. If you purchase $30 or more tickets the ticket price goes down to $1 each. A portion of the proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Children’s Hospital of South Carolina.
If you’re interested in showing your car at the show—it’s an open show, so there are no limits on what you can bring—you can register up to noon on Oct. 19 at the cruise-in. Vehicle registration is $30 before Oct. 1 and $40 after.
