Best of 2013: Best New Store in Myrtle Beach
There are plenty of shopping options around Myrtle Beach, with more and more opening all the time. If you’re looking for something a little different and fun, check out Coastal Urge.
Coastal Urge opened just this May at The Market Common, but has already become a locals’ favorite. This is third location for the company, with two other shops in Wilmington and Bald Head Island. At Coastal Urge you’ll find outdoor apparel, children’s clothing and footwear, featuring popular brands like The North Face, Vineyard Vines, Patagonia, Southern Tide, and Ray-Ban.
The shop also sells bicycles and standup paddleboards. Customers can even set up a demo to try out a bike or paddleboard before buying. And if you aren’t quite ready to buy or are just looking for something fun to keep you active during vacation, Coastal Urge offers rentals on both the bikes and paddleboards.
If you haven’t checked out The Market Common, it is definitely something to pencil in to your itinerary. In addition to Coastal Urge, there are tons of shopping options, with popular stores like Anthropologie, Tommy Bahama, and Pottery Barn. The Market Common also has several restaurants and bars, including favorites like Nacho Hippo and Ultimate California Pizza.
