Any time is a great time to stay at the Caribbean Resort & Villas in Myrtle Beach, but the approach of the Second Annual Carolina Country Music Fest in downtown Myrtle Beach provides a great reason to kick off the summer season with us. Set for June 10-12 on the former Pavilion site in the heart of the downtown district, the Carolina Country Music Fest is returning to town following a successful debut last summer. This year's event appears to be even bigger and better than ever.

Featuring headlining acts like Country Music Association award-winners Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line, the Carolina Country Music Fest is expected to attract more than 50,000 fans to the showcase again this year. The 18-acre festival venue on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is only a short distance south of the Caribbean, where you can save on accommodations and tickets. Guests can save up to 25 percent off our deluxe rooms and up to $53 per ticket by purchasing a ticket package.

With a little luck, you could even attend the Carolina Country Music Fest for free, courtesy of the Caribbean and partner Brittain Resorts & Hotels. Simply follow the Caribbean Resort and Villas' social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more details on how you can be a winner. A total of 20 entrants will each receive two free tickets to the show. Keep up with festival news through the CCMF app, and share your experiences using the hashtags #ccmf, #ccmf4life, #ccmflove and #ccmflive.

Returning for another rocking year on the oceanfront, the Carolina Country Music Fest features live music playing on multiple stages, with the Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop to the main stage. More than 30 bands in all will play at the downtown district venue, which will feature concession stands, vendor booths, a zipline and other activities. Patrons can enjoy great food, drinks and souvenirs while stretching out on a beach blanket to enjoy the show.

Last year's event featured top country acts like Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes and South Carolina's own Marshall Tucker Band, creating a buzz in the country music community and among Myrtle Beach visitors. With the first-year jitters out of the way and new plans to make the festival even more fan-friendly, the festival invites patrons to the Myrtle Beach oceanfront for some great music and fun in the sun. Caribbean guests are only a short stroll from the festival grounds.

The festivities begin with the Visit Myrtle Beach Kick Off Concert on Thursday, June 9, from 6 to 11 p.m., followed by all-day affairs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shows run from 1 to 11 p.m. on all three festival days, with nonstop music playing on various stages. In addition to the headliners, other acts include Cole Swindell, Jake Owen, A Thousand Horses, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Ray, Maren Morris, Chris Lane, Kane Brown, Joe Nichols, Chase Bryant, Lauren Jenkins and more artists to be announced. Daily and three-day passes are available in both the general-admission and VIP sections, and fans are encouraged to bring beach blankets for seating.

Guests can return to the Caribbean Resort & Villas after a long day at the shows and relax with a dip in our oceanfront indoor and outdoor pool decks and waterpark, grab a bite to eat at the adjoining Sea Captain's House, Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's, or relax in their comfortable rooms and on their private oceanfront balconies. It's a great way to enjoy the Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, as well as your time away from the shows.
