Whether you are looking for some familiar holiday events or something completely different, North Beach Plantation and North Myrtle Beach have you covered. Here are some of the memory-making ways to spend the Easter holiday at North Beach:

  • Barefoot Landing Bunny Hop: North Beach is only a hop, skip and jump away to Barefoot Landing, a popular entertainment, dining and shopping complex located just across Highway 17. On Saturday, March 26, the Bunny Hop offers a ton of fun for the little ones with a scavenger hunt, kids karaoke, face painting, arts and crafts and even a visit from the Easter Bunny. The free activities are located throughout the boardwalk and run from noon to 4 p.m.

  • Breakfasts/Brunches: There's nothing like a traditional Easter brunch, and guests at North Beach are only steps away from one of the best holiday spreads on the Strand. 21 Main offers a special Easter feast as well as its famous menu of great steaks, seafood and sushi. Just across Highway 17, the House of Blues offers its popular Sunday Gospel Brunch with live inspirational music and Southern cooking. Hard Rock Cafe and The Children's Museum of Myrtle Beach offer breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Other area restaurants serving Easter breakfast or brunch include the Brentwood House, Chestnut Hill and Original Benjamin's Calabash Buffet.

  • Church Services: North Myrtle Beach is home to churches of all denominations that will hold traditional Sunday services, including outdoor services, weather permitting. Sunrise services on the beach are offered in downtown Myrtle Beach, and the non-denominational Barefoot Church will host a dramatic retelling of the Easter story. • Egg Hunts: Kids love to look for hidden treasure, and a good old-fashioned egg hunt is a great way to get them excited. On Saturday, March 26, McLean Park in downtown North Myrtle Beach hosts an Easter egg hunt for kids of all ages, as well as other activities for the little ones. If you are in town early, Thompson Farm in nearby Conway provides a spacious pasture for children to round up the eggs and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

  • Golf: The spring golf season is in full swing and Easter Sunday is a good chance to book a tee time to one of North Myrtle Beach’s championship courses. With many golfers spending the holiday with their families instead of on the course, North Beach guests can play at nearby Arcadian Shore, Barefoot Golf Resort, Possum Trot and almost any of the 80 layouts within a 60-mile radius of the Grand Strand. Contact North Beach’s helpful staff to reserve your round at the best rates available.
