Cowboy hat? Check. Flip-flops? Check, check. Room reservations and tickets to the Second Annual Carolina Country Music Festival? What's that, you haven't booked your room and bought your tickets to the June 10-12 concert event of the summer in Myrtle Beach? Here's your chance to stay in the lap of luxury at The Strand and save on accommodations and tickets to the big show.

Returning from a wildly successful debut last summer, the Carolina Country Music Fest is back and ready to wow crowds again with a lineup that reads like a who's who in country music. Appearing on the main stage with the Atlantic Ocean in the background, this year's headliners include Country Music Association award winners Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line. In all, more than 30 bands will play on multiple stages at the 18-acre outdoor complex in the downtown district.

More than 50,000 fans are expected to attend this year's event, and general-admission and VIP tickets are going fast, as are hotel rooms for the three-day weekend event. But you don't have to sacrifice quality or blow your budget — take advantage of The Strand's discounted packages on accommodations and tickets. Save up to 25 percent on your luxuriously remodeled room at Myrtle Beach's ultimate boutique resort and receive discounts on general admission and VIP tickets of up to $53 per person.

In addition, 20 lucky fans will each receive two free tickets to the Carolina Country Music Fest, thanks to a special promotion with The Strand’s partner company Brittain Hotels & Resorts. Simply follow The Strand's social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for details on how you can win tickets to see the biggest names in country music in America's favorite beach destination. Festival-goers can even connect through the CCMF app and share their experiences with the hashtags #ccmf, #ccmf4life, #ccmflove and #ccmflive.

Last year's event featured top country acts like Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes and South Carolina's own Marshall Tucker Band, creating a buzz in the country music community and among Myrtle Beach visitors. This year's event is expected to be even bigger and better, as organizers have ironed out many of the first-year wrinkles that come with hosting a major event for the first time. Concession stands and vendor booths will be set up throughout the complex, and festival-goers can stretch out on a beach blanket, have a cold beer and a hot dog, and enjoy the great music and festive beach atmosphere.

The festivities begin with the Visit Myrtle Beach Kick Off Concert on Thursday, June 9, from 6 to 11 p.m., followed by all-day affairs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shows run from 1 to 11 p.m. on all three festival days, with nonstop music playing on various stages. Other acts include Cole Swindell, Jake Owen, A Thousand Horses, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Ray, Maren Morris, Chris Lane, Kane Brown, Joe Nichols, Chase Bryant, Lauren Jenkins, and more artists to be announced. Daily and three-day passes are available in both the general-admission and VIP sections, and fans are encouraged to bring beach blankets for seating.

Guests at The Strand can take a shuttle to and from the shows, or walk the 1.5 miles down the beach, Boardwalk or Ocean Boulevard. Start your day with a delicious breakfast in our lobby and a dip in our oceanfront pool and hot tub, enjoy a full day and night at the show, and come back for a nightcap at The Strand Bar before having a relaxing evening in your comfortable room and on your private oceanfront balcony. It's the best way to experience the Carolina Country Music Fest in style.
