Paradise Resort Guests Love Banditos Restaurant
Staying at Paradise Resort in Myrtle Beach and looking for a fun spot to grab a lunch or dinner, maybe one with some crunchy cheesy Mexican deliciousness? Sounds like it’s time to head up to the Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade and give Banditos Restaurant & Cantina a try. It’s just a 10-minute drive north from Paradise Resort on the Boardwalk near the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel. Banditos offers the colorful Mexican restaurant vibe you’ll love, plus outstanding oceanfront views and an outdoor patio.
Banditos opened August 2012 and has already become a popular restaurant on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. It offers both familiar Mexican fare such as tortas, enchiladas and tamales, as well as some new plays on old favorites, such as tamarind BBQ pulled pork with southwestern slaw wrapped in a flour tortilla.
“It’s good fresh foods, and we like to put a local twist on traditional Latin flavors,” said director of operations Shaun Christenson.
Banditos has a street front bar and is just beginning construction on a beachfront bar that Christenson said should be completed by early May. The restaurant offers an energetic bar atmosphere with live music during the summer seven days a week both day and evening. It’s also got plenty of drink options, including more than 100 tequila selections for sipping or for blending into a margarita.
One of the best things about Banditos is its great location on the boardwalk. When you’re done eating, you can go for a stroll along the boardwalk, which runs from the 2nd Avenue to the 14th Avenue piers.
All that fun, amazing views and delicious food? It all works together to make Banditos a great place for Paradise Resort guests to stop for lunch, dinner or even happy hour while they’re enjoying a great Myrtle Beach vacation.
