With more than 50,000 fans expected to attend the three-day festival in downtown Myrtle Beach, this year's Carolina Country Music Fest looks to be even bigger and better than last year’s edition, which featured Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts and Hunter Hayes. The upcoming June 10-12 concerts will feature Country Music Association award-winning acts Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line as headliners, along with other festival acts such as Cole Swindell, Jake Owen, A Thousand Horses, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Ray, Maren Morris, Chris Lane, Kane Brown and more artists to be announced. Recent additions to the list include Joe Nichols, Chase Bryant and Lauren Jenkins.
Held on an 18-acre oceanfront lot that was once home to the historic Myrtle Beach Pavilion, the Carolina Country Music Fest attracts excited crowds to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to see their favorite bands play back to back to back over the three-day festival. With the beach in the background of the main stage and other stages, along with concession stands and vendor booths set up throughout the complex, patrons can kick back and relax on a beach blanket, enjoy a cold beer and take in all the music.
Ocean Reef guests can catch a shuttle to the venue and return to the resort to unwind from a fun day and night at the festival. The festivities begin with the Visit Myrtle Beach Kick Off Concert on Thursday, June 9, from 6 to 11 p.m., followed by all-day affairs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shows run from 1 to 11 p.m. on all three festival days, with nonstop music playing on various stages. Daily and three-day passes are available in both the general-admission and VIP sections, and fans are encouraged to bring beach blankets for seating.
