Headed to Murrells Inlet? Here’s What to Eat, Drink, and Do!

Murrells Inlet is often a stop in people’s Myrtle Beach getaways.

It actually deserves its own billing. With the Intracoastal Waterway and Marsh Walk, Murrells Inlet is like no place on earth. There’s plenty of wildlife — and wild life — to see.

Here’s your guide to one of the Grand Strand’s most scenic and terrific areas.

Dinner with a view? This is the place.

Dead Dog Saloon

They call Murrells Inlet a “quiet little drinking village with a fishing problem.” Dead Dog Saloon is a major factor in that! It’s a great drop-in for a delicious meal and incredible scenery. Try the Inlet Egg Rolls, Woof Woof Wings, Shrimp Basket, and more.

Drunken Jack's

If a quest for the best experiences on the Grand Strand is on your list, visit this place with a panoramic view. You’ll also find great service and delicious food. The Fresh Catch of the Day and Steak Neptune are sure to please.

The Claw House

It’s a laid-back yet cheerful lobster house and raw bar. They have craft beer on tap, a huge deck, and gorgeous views. Try the Clam Casino Dip, House Oysters, and Lobster & Crab Lettuce Wraps.

You’ll have a blast at happy hour, right through to dinner, if you choose. Bovines’ menu has food to make everyone smile, from carnivores to picky eaters. Order a craft cocktail or a glass of Lamarca Prosecco to go with Fried Loaded Mac & Cheese Bites.

Wicked Tuna

Get to the bar for happy hour and you’ll find friendly folks, stellar service, and a cool atmosphere. Happy hour specials are rocking, and sushi lovers will appreciate the quality selection. Order an Inlet Ice Tea and Mozzarella Sticks so good you won’t want to share.

You can’t go home empty-handed, now, can you?

Inlet Queens

It’s a go-to, must-see shop for many people every time they visit, with a great selection of items. Find cute ideas for home decor and an amicable staff ready to help. They have a vast and amazing variety of artists’ handmade work on display that you will love.
